Thanksgiving Break

Hello! I realize that I'm almost a month late, but I am going to talk a bit about my thanksgiving break. I went home to good old Indiana and spent some time with family. I made mashed potatoes for the first time and I'd say it was pretty successful. I also made a chocolate pecan pie and an apple crumble (I'd say I'm known for my baking lol). I didn't do any black Friday shopping for 2 reasons. 1. I'm applying to medical school and it's literally bleeding me dry. 2. I didn't feel like dealing with the crowds for deals that aren't that amazing. I did, however, do a little bit of shopping on small business Saturday. I'm a huge fan of shopping at local boutiques and supporting local businesses. I'm inserting a couple of pictures of me out shopping on small business Saturday. This semester overall has been busy, but also pretty relaxed. In other words, I did a lot of work, but also had a lot of fun.

It's Been A While...

Okay so I realize my posts are extremely sporadic, but I promised myself that starting now and in this coming year I am going to be more consistent. Right now I am on winter break from my last year in college. This blog has been extremely helpful in reminding me of my experiences thus far. I began this blog trying to sound like a blogger (whatever that means), and now I just write whatever I think. This semester has been extremely busy and full of ups and down, but it has also been one of the best semesters I have ever had in college. I started medical school interviews and it has forced me to be extremely introspective. I learned that every experience that you have comes with a lesson. With all of that being said, I'd like to update you all on some of my recent adventures. I gonna spread these updates out through a few blog posts, but to give you a small taste I am going to do some fashion and lifestyle posts, Christmas party posts (one including the white house!!), and travel posts. Below are a few quotes and bible verses that were extremely helpful to me this semester. I'm also obsessed with the newest Gaga album and the John Legend album.

Mis Pensamientos Recientes....Matrimonio

este blog ha sido una salida para yo y recientamente hay que algunas cosas que me molesta. Ademas tengo unos pensamientos que necessito expresar. Primero quiero discutir matrimonios. un matrimonio es un prometa. a causa de esto, no puedes romperlo cualquier tiempo tú escoges. no sé porque muchas personas piensan eso. es una problema en este sociedad y quiero ayudarlo pero no lo puedo. un lider en mi vida ha participado en un relacion extramatrimonial y no sé exatamente por que pero no me importa nada. este no tiene sentido. no entiendo como todo el mundo no entienden el impacto de cosas como eso en una vida. la vida de su familia de su hijos de todo las personas que mira a tu para consejo y apoyo. este no me da mucho esperanza para la vida casada. hay resultados por los acciones que tú haces.
